The AE series — AE1, AE2, and AE3 — is built as a more budget-friendly entry into custom in-ear monitoring, scaling from a single driver up to three. This line suits musicians, vocalists, and worship leaders who want the fit and isolation benefits of a custom monitor without stepping up to a tour-grade driver count.
The G Series and AFR3: Tour-Grade Performance
The AFR3, G8, G12, and G16 scale from three drivers up to eight per ear, with more sophisticated crossovers splitting the frequency spectrum into dedicated lows, mids, and highs. This line is aimed at musicians running complex, busy mixes — full bands, click tracks, multiple instruments — who need maximum detail and separation.
A Simple Way to Decide
Ask yourself what you’re actually monitoring:
- Mostly your own voice or instrument, plus a click track? Start with the AE1 or AE2.
- A fuller band mix, but on a budget? The AE3 is a solid middle ground.
- Touring professionally with a complex in-ear mix? Look at the AFR3, G8, G12, or G16 depending on budget and how much detail you want.
