WARRANTY, POLICY & TERMS OF SERVICE INFORMATION

CORDS - 60 DAY LIMITED

Alien Ears Cord Warranty Policy

60-Day Limited Warranty
Alien Ears warrants its cords against defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 60 days from the date of receipt.

Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage or issues resulting from:

  • Use contrary to Alien Ears’ instructions

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Misuse, abuse, negligence, or accidents

  • Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or acts of God

  • Use with non-Alien Ears monitors (this voids the warranty)

Warranty Conditions

  • Only cords bearing a micro date stamp are eligible for warranty claims.

  • Cords covered under this warranty must be returned to Alien Ears for exchange only; no refunds will be issued.

  • Replacement cords are guaranteed to fit Alien Ears monitors exclusively.

Important Notice: To protect your hearing and in-ear monitors, always operate with an in-line limiter to prevent damage from audio spikes.

30-Day Fit Guarantee
Alien Ears provides a 30-day fit warranty, effective from the original shipping received date of your custom in-ear monitors. Should you experience any fit-related issues—such as improper sizing, inadequate sealing, or discomfort—we will, at our discretion, adjust, rebuild, or remold the monitors at no additional cost. Upon receipt of the refitted monitors, a new 30-day fit guarantee period begins.
Our priority is ensuring a precise fit, as a proper seal is essential for optimal performance, supported by our superior craftsmanship and high-quality components.

Note: Completed monitors are non-refundable.

One-Year Limited Warranty
Alien Ears warrants its in-ear monitors against defects in materials or workmanship for one year from the date of receipt. This warranty covers:

  • Crossovers
  • Internal wiring
  • Cracked shells (excluding damage from physical impact)
  • Sockets
  • Drivers

Exclusions
The following are not covered under this warranty:

  • Damage due to misuse, abuse, negligence, or failure to adhere to Alien Ears’ usage instructions
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from accidents, unauthorized repairs, modifications, or acts of God
  • Blown drivers (a fast limiter is recommended to prevent transient spikes)
  • Cracked or broken shells resulting from physical damage
  • Shipping costs

Production and Delivery
Due to variable lab production volumes, Alien Ears cannot guarantee specific production or delivery timelines. For rush orders not delivered by the specified target date, the rush fee portion of the order will be refunded.

Abandoned Orders
Orders unclaimed or incomplete after one year from placement are considered abandoned and voided. A reinstatement fee will be required to reactivate such orders.

Within 10 days of receipt a 15% restocking fee’s apply to working units with original case and parts, all in
like new condition

Cancelling Orders

Alien Ears Order Cancellation Policy

General Terms

  • Completed in-ear monitors are non-refundable.

  • Rush order fees and custom upgrades (e.g., custom colors, faceplates, sparkles) are non-refundable.

  • Impression kits cannot be returned once shipped.

United States (USA)

  • Orders Cancelled Before Shell Casting (No Impressions Received): A $30 fee per impression kit is assessed.

  • Orders Cancelled During Processing (Impressions Received): A $50 fee is assessed ($30 impression kit fee + $20 processing fee).

  • Orders Cancelled After Shell Completion: A $100 shell fee is assessed, reflecting the significant labor involved in production.

International (Non-USA)

  • Orders Cancelled Before Shell Casting (No Impressions Received): A $35 fee per impression kit is assessed, plus all applicable shipping charges.

  • Orders Cancelled During Processing (Impressions Received): A $55 fee is assessed ($35 impression kit fee + $20 processing fee), plus all applicable shipping charges.

  • Orders Cancelled After Shell Completion: A $100 shell fee is assessed, plus all applicable shipping charges, due to the extensive labor required for production.

Repairs

Alien Ears Repair Policy

  • Processing Order: Repairs are processed in the order they are received at our facility.

  • Shipping Responsibility: Customers are responsible for all shipping costs to and from the Alien Ears lab.

  • Abandoned Repairs: Units left at our facility for more than one year are considered abandoned. Usable components from abandoned units may be repurposed for charitable causes.

  • Packaging Instructions: To ensure safe handling, please do not send repairs in hard cases.
