How does the whole process work & turn around time?
1.) Simply choose and purchase the custom molded product from our website
2.) An invoice is generated and emailed to you along with Impression kit instructions
3.) An Impression kit is sent via priority mail
4.) You make your impressions, include the invoice we emailed you and return them to our lab
5.) We return your Custom Molded product to your door! (2 1/2 to 4 week turnaround)
Shipping of the free impression kit and return shipping is included!
Please do not call during the process to check on status...it slows the process down.

What is the difference in Single, Dual & Triple Driver?
Single has One, Dual has two and Triple has three transducers (speakers) per monitor
Single Drivers feeds all frequencies through the single Driver
Dual separates the low end from the mid/highs giving better clarity and more low end
Triple Drivers are the best units separating Low, Mids & High frequencies giving you the ultimate clarity & Low end in a monitor

What is the difference in Silicone & Acrylic?
Silicone is a soft Medical grade silicone that is very comfortable and durable
Acrylic is a hard UV Acrylic that is very durable
Both are comfortable and custom molded for maximum comfort for those extra long gigs!

What about detachable & fixed cables?
Detachable cords are field replaceable...meaning that if you order a second cord you can pull the cord out
from the monitor and replace it at the gig!
Fixed cord units use an Ipod type of cord that is permanently attached to the monitors.. take care of these & they will last for many
years but if the need arises ..you will need to send them back to the lab for a repair.
Both fixed and detachable units use the same internal parts!

What colors are available (swirls & glitters)?
Any color...no color chart needed!
If you want Candy Apple Red say "Candy Apple Red"
Fluorescent Green.. Glow in the Dark...Sparkles...Swirls...Send us a picture if you want!
Custom graphics are available at an extra cost.

What about imprinting names on the shells?
Yes...your last name is imprinted inside each shell (monitor).
You can also have a nickname imprinted if you like.

Cord colors and over the ear?
ALL CORDS ARE OVER THE EAR HIDDEN TYPE
Acrylic Detachable cords come in Black & Beige (heavy duty twisted pair cable)
Acrylic Fixed cords come in Black & White (ipod type)
Silicone Cords Come in Black, White &  Beige  (heavy duty twisted pair cable)
All cords end in a mini-jack compatible with almost all body packs

Yes, Impression kits and shipping are free with your purchase
if you are not purchasing kits are $20
(reorder kits are only $7 for customers who need more impression material)

Are impressions difficult to make?
Impression are relatively easy to make...take your time and follow our directions
and you will have perfect impressions of your ears! Remember: "open mouth impressions"

Can I use an Audiologist for impressions?
Yes, We can use the impressions from an audiologist. remember: "open mouth impressions"

Do I save money using an audiologist?
Yes...Drop a note after you order that you have your own impressions
and we will refund you $10!

Do you return my impressions?
Yes, We don't understand why other companies don't!
You can reuse your impressions for other custom molded products.

Why should I do an open mouth impression?
If you are a singer buying custom ear molds or custom earphones for use during performances,
you should hold your mouth open during the time the impression material is setting up.
Mouth-open impressions will produce molds that fit more tightly and that will be less likely to come unsealed during
 loud singing parts that call for opening the mouth widely. Mouth-closed impressions will produce a more comfortable custom mold or plug to wear for extended periods such as during sleep, all day at work or while riding a motorcycle.
Singers should do open mouth impressions.

Why custom molded friction molds?
Many musician will buy generic fit monitors in the store thinking that they sound pretty good.
but getting them on stage is a different subject...jump (or move) around...sweat at all and pop...out they come.
Our friction molds solve this problem and more...they wont come out till you take them out and you get excellent isolation
that you cant get with a generic fit monitor.

Can you make friction molds for monitors not listed on your site?
YES, but you will have to send in your monitors to our lab for the custom mold.
There is NO EXTRA CHARGE for this service!!!

What Colors can I order?
No color chart needed! Any color you like including swirls & sparkles...
NO EXTRA CHARGE!

How much is domestic shipping & what's included?
Domestic shipping is FREE!
It  includes the shipping of the free impression kit & the return
shipping of the finished product. You will only be responsible for
the return shipping of your impression (please track them).
We Ship USPS Priority mail.

How much is oversea's shipping & what's included?
Overseas shipping is $35
It  includes the shipping of the free impression kit & the return
shipping of the finished product. You will only be responsible for
the return shipping of your impression. We ship USPS Priority mail.

Should I track my impressions to the lab?
Domestic- Absolutely!
International- If you can

Will you tell me when my impressions reach your lab?
No...this is where tracking comes in handy.
we process a large amount of orders and stopping
to check slows the process down.
We are working on an online system to show impressions and
order status.

How will I know if my impressions are good enough?
If your impressions are not sufficient enough to make your custom molded
product the lab will contact you and let you know they need new impressions.
Domestic reorder kits are only $7.
Once you send your impressions back to
the lab your order is expedited!
